FRANKSTON FORUM & BRECAN

Upcoming Forum: BreaCan will be hosting a forum for women living on the Mornington Peninsula who have been diagnosed with breast or gynaecological cancers on Saturday 14 November. While part of the forum will be about providing information, it will also be a chance to talk to meet other women with similar experiences.
There are at least three (and many more) good reasons to come to the forum:
· Maria Ftanou, Psychologist from Peter Mac will be the guest speaker and will talk about how you find the “new normal” after a cancer diagnosis — and practical strategies about living with uncertainty.
· You will have the opportunity to connect with other women from your local area and share your experiences.
· You can be part of an enjoyable and therapeutic workshop — maybe an art or dance workshop
·
A participant at a previous forum said “I didn’t know what to expect, but it was good to listen to someone explain how I was feeling”.
The forum will be held in Frankston and program details will be finalised shortly. Please get the date in your diary!
