OCTOBER PINK BULLETIN

Thank you for so many turning up last night when the weather was very ordinary. We had a great discussion on gyms and fitness as well as a few laughs. There is a morning tea on Friday 9.30-12.30 at Biscottini Main St Mornington fundraising for the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute Research Fund. Cost $25 with raffles of course Auctions and food. Gayle walker & Jo Lovelock are going, if anyone is interested. You can book at PPH Chemo Unit on 97883757 Thursday (helps with catering) or just turn up!

Ann had a message from a girlfriend who is involved in the Tyabb airport and they are holding their breast cancer day this Sunday (you know the one where they make out the image of the plane on the airfield and try and fill it with as many pink people as possible?). Wondered if you could pass the word to the group to anyone who may wish to be part of it.

Mornington Food and Wine Festival Sunday 17th October 8-4pm. We will be holding a minifield outside the Grand Hotel again. Sue will set up and be around, but needs helpers. Please phone her with your availability. The Pink Ladies are there for people to write messages on the tags ( no cost) There will also be BCNA merchandise for sale. Our Peninsula dragonflies will be next to us with their boat to fundraise. It is a great day for the family, loads of entertainment. Ria whom we met last night is singing with her choir.

Relay for Life
Saturday 23rd October at Ballam Park.
We have been invited to join the survivors lap of honour at 4pm. Followed by a complimentary afternoon tea at 4.30. More info CCVic 131120

Free Healing Day Saturday 30th October 9.30 for a 10 am start till about 4ish
Eldon Park Retreat 74 Graydens Rd Tyabb
The wonderful girls from Yoga by the Bay are offering their services for a day of massage, reiki, meditation and Pilates at Eldon Park. All we ask is you bring a plate of food to share for morning tea or lunch. There will be group and one on one sessions. Come for the day or just drop in for a session. RSVP if you can so we have some idea of numbers.
