A message from our Jo…
Hi Gals,
We had a catch up at my place 13th Jan a chance for us to meet others who are affected by this rotten disease. We had a young mum there with a gorgeous 16 month old so perhaps you other mums can offer some advice for managing through treatment. Dee should be congratulated on completing the Portsea Classic in a very respectable time! And only about 6 weeks after surgery!! The lovely Jann barker was down from QLD, she is a proud grandmother again. The next meet is at The Bays on Feb 3rd 7-9pm and is a catch up. We will talk about the program for the year, all ideas welcome. Also your thoughts around a ‘Younger Woman’s’ catch up, and the advanced gals meeting too. Let us know what you think?. We should also think about ways to help those who get a bit stuck with treatments, perhaps have a list of people who could drop off a meal or baby sit for a couple of hours, do the shopping?? Hope you all had a safe and happy break.
Our thoughts are with all of you undergoing treatment at this time. If we can help in some way, please let us know.
